Managing Partner at Advisor Financing, Troy is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he received a Bachelor of Science in economics.
After graduation, Troy launched his career at Miller Johnson & Khuen in Minneapolis, where he became the lead trading liaison for the online platform Stockwalk.com. That eventually led to a fifteen-year career at Morgan Stanley where he held positions as Vice President, Corporate Retirement Director and Senior Investment Management Consultant. It was in this capacity where he earned the trust of individuals, business owners and corporate investment committees. Troy continued his pursuit of higher education and professionalism earning industry certifications such as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation and Minneapolis 5 Star Wealth Manager* in 2014-2017 and 2019-2022. Troy’s top priority is to be a trusted advisor, helping clients design and execute a strategic wealth plan from beginning to end.
Troy and his family reside in Plymouth, MN where he enjoys being a husband, father and working around the house. Having grown up in central Minnesota fostered his love for the outdoors and MN lakes, which is often where friends and family find Troy and his family during the summer, at their cabin in Brainerd, MN. Economic empowerment, the environment and education are important causes that Troy enjoys supporting.
